Vint Cerf (Vinton Gray Cerf) is undoubtedly one of innovative “the fathers of the Internet". He was born on June 23, 1943, in Connecticut (USA). He was elected as the president of the Association for Computing Machinery in May 2012, and in August 2013 he joined the Council on Cybersecurity’s Board of Advisors. He has quite a job and pursued an MS degree at the University of California. Cerf is also known for his sartorial style, typically appearing in a three-piece suit. In 1972, Cerf earned a Ph.D. in computer science from the Stanford University and started working as an assistant professor there. Cerf’s contributions to the world of IT are incomparable.
